About CIA ConceptsCIA Concepts was built on a straightforward belief: lighting should be designed with the same care as the rooms it lives in — considered, matched to the home, and seen through properly.
I started CIA Concepts because I kept seeing beautiful homes let down by lighting that was chosen at a counter rather than designed for the space. Light changes how a room feels — its warmth, its scale, the way a material reads — and it deserves the same thought as everything else in the build.
My work is hands-on and end-to-end. I assess a home's colour scheme, materials and architectural style, then design a lighting scheme to match. I work directly with the electricians and installers, quality-check the fittings before they reach site, and stay involved until the last detail is right. It is not a showroom where you pick your own — it is a designer at your side from the first plan to the final switch-on.
A scheme has to look considered and work in daily life. We design for both at once, never trading one for the other.
Fittings are chosen for your colours, materials and style — so the light belongs to the architecture, not to a catalogue.
From assessment to design, supply, installation and snagging, one designer carries the project the whole way.
Every fitting is checked before it reaches your build, so problems are caught early rather than discovered on a ladder.
You get a clear, zone-by-zone proposal with full fitting specifications — nothing left vague, nothing assumed.
The job is done when the light in the room is exactly as intended — snag-free and complete.
CIA Concepts has been established in the lighting industry for more than three years, qualified across residential and larger-scale work — from private homes to institutions such as schools and hospitals.
Much of our work comes through reputation and word of mouth, from clients and trades who have seen a scheme through with us and passed the name on. It is the kind of trust you can only earn one finished home at a time.
The same considered approach, whether the project is a private residence or a building used by hundreds.
